This Saturday, the 8th stage of the 2025 Tour de France will start in Saint-Méen-le-Grand and wind through Ille-et-Vilaine to Laval (Mayenne), the finishing town. A fond memory for Belgian Mathieu van der Poel , who won the Boucles de la Mayenne there and wore the yellow jersey of the Tour during the 2021 time trial.

In the legendary lands of Breton cycling, the 171-kilometer course will be completely horizontal, the day after the double climb of Mûr-de-Bretagne (Côtes-d'Armor). This offers a great opportunity for the best sprinters. The expected finish, at the end of a one-kilometer false flat, is scheduled for 5:04 p.m.

The 8th stage Saint-Méen-le-Grand - Laval Espace Mayenne this Saturday, July 12, will be broadcast from 1:10 p.m. (fictitious start) on France Télévisions (France 2 and France 3) and Eurosport 1, as well as live with commentary on our website leparisien.fr
