Ultra-trail - L'Échappée Belle. "A motivation booster as well as a psychological support": the pacer, the ultra-trail runner's guardian angel
Competitors in the Intégrale (152 km, 11,390 m D +, 11,350 m D -) can call on a pacer from Pleynet, to accompany them for all or part of the last 87 kilometers of the course (with 6,140 m D + and 7,560 m D -). Focus on these trailers who are similar to the "hares" in athletics, but who do much more than simply set the pace to follow.
