VIDEO. One year after the Olympics: remembering as if it were yesterday

The opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games took place almost a year ago, give or take two days. For many, recalling the event brings back memories.
A stunning ceremony that became a historic event... It was a year ago in Paris in the rain. Little Elsa and her mother were there, and in a year, nothing has really changed. They both even participated in the 10 km marathon for all. Elsa was in a chair to talk about her illness, cystic fibrosis. It's one of their best memories of the games. "It was beautiful, it was big, it was bright. There was this whole atmosphere. The kind energy received by the public, it was... great," says Elsa's mother.
An Olympic fortnight that the entire capital remembers, with the Montmartre district transformed into an XXL stadium as the runners climbed the hill, just a few minutes outside Chloé Saïb's restaurant. She then welcomed hundreds of customers right onto the sidewalk. "It was truly unprecedented. We were under a lot of pressure, but it was good pressure. People were screaming with joy," she recalls.
