While progress remains to be made, sports authorities are investing in women's soccer teams, and the amounts involved are increasing in Europe and around the world. But the gap with men's soccer remains enormous.

From one Euro to the next, including the World Cup, the observation remains unchanged: women's football is experiencing continued economic expansion. And this 2025 edition seems to be no exception. This year, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), organizer of the competition, has decided to think big. In any case, bigger than previous times. Some 41 million euros will be distributed to the participating teams , more than double the prize money of the 2022 English edition . The winners will receive up to 5.1 million euros, compared to 2.085 million
