Bistro coquetry, next to the Arc de Triomphe, who prefers to agree with Ginette (Mathiot) rather than Simone (Signoret). And Blandine, who delegates her little domestic dishes to a 16th arrondissement banquette, convinced that nostalgia remains what it is.

Price: between €39 and €61. Comté cheese soufflé: a good idea, well executed. The "must-have" cordon bleu: improved. Soft cookie, salted caramel, and vanilla ice cream: pleasantly mediocre.

With whom? Small, model family.

Good food: at the three booths or on the small terrace. The service is happy to be alive.

Bistro Blandine. 45, avenue Kléber (Paris 16th ). Tel.: 06 49 86 36 30. Daily except Sunday. Until 2 a.m. Metro: Boissière.
