In Bordeaux: To offer a bit of freshness, the opening hours of the Parc Bordelais, the Béchade gardens, the Dames de la Foi gardens, and the Jardin Public (11 p.m.) are extended until 10 p.m. On Sunday, the Jean-Boiteux (Judaïque) swimming pool and the Lac beach close at 8 p.m. On Monday, the Tissot swimming pool closes at 8 p.m. Live pool attendance information can be found at mapiscine.bordeaux.fr/frequentations.html

For homeless people, a so-called "respite" space will be set up at the Jean-Moulin center on Monday and Tuesday. Outreach efforts are being stepped up.

In Mérignac , the Vivier and Bourran parks will close at 10:30 p.m. to allow residents to enjoy the coolness of the end of the day.

The 17 recycling centers in the Bordeaux metropolitan area are changing their hours during the heatwave: open from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. without interruption at lunchtime on Monday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 1 .

In Libourne: As of June 29, the city's parks and gardens will remain open twenty-four hours a day. The Dagueys beach swimming area will be supervised until 9 p.m.
