The Meridian Slimmer Trimmer Changed My Grooming Game

Can I make a shameful admission? You clicked to read my review of a body hair trimmer so I'm going to assume you're here for it. I've always used the same beard trimmer for my facial hair as I have for, well, everything else. Look, I'm sanitary about it. The real reason to upgrade is that it's always felt weird and honestly never been as efficient as I've wanted in the harder-to-reach areas. I'll cut myself, not be able to see where I really need to, you get the picture. I needed a change for a long time before I'd even realized it.
This isn't a retinol review. There's no real science or anything fancy involved. It's closer to talking about lawn equipment. This is the average Joe's review. I honestly didn't even plan on reviewing this when I first got my hands on it. But it's my duty to make sure the best products I use, the ones that actually change my life, are getting passed on to our readers. And when I incorporate a gadget into my routines (grooming or otherwise), I know it's a winner. When I got a Meridian trimmer, I realized what I'd been missing for so long.
The Meridian Slimmer Trimmer has changed the manscaping game for me. It's a travel-friendly body trimmer that is waterproof, USB-C powered, and has yet to knick me where it hurts.
I Won't Go Without ItThis is a great pubic hair trimmer, if that's what you're looking for. Sure, it can trim your chest hair and shave pits. But really it's meant to do one thing and it does it quickly and without any discomfort. It's not going to get you a close shave, nor is it meant to. (We're past the bush vs. clean shave argument. Do what you want, but if you want a close shave, just get a professional involved.) The Slimmer Trimmer is instead a portable, affordable tool in your grooming arsenal. It comes with two guide combs, a charger, and a cleaning brush—all very compact, very easy to use. I'm loving mine.
Meridian's Slimmer Trimmer is small, easy to hold and maneuver, especially around sensitive zones. It's waterproof, perfect for use in the shower, and it charges using USB-C, which means even if you lose the charger it's easy to replace from your collection of cables. The LED spotlight can be a great help, but it does provide additional strain on an already low capacity battery. In layman's terms, I wish I didn't have to charge it as much.
While the duller blade makes for a gentler, irritation-free trim it does leave the trimmer in the same positions as many old-school razors. You will need to replace the blades at some point. The blade removes pretty easily, and replacements are relatively affordable, but it is a cost that adds up over time. The upside is that you if you keep up with it, you'll never have to toss this sleek, ergonomic trimmer. I think it's worth the minimal investment for staying smooth and itch-free where it counts... for when it counts.
