Donald Trump turns 79 today—and if there’s one thing the President of the United States never does quietly, it’s his own birthday. From spaceships and serenades to a surprise appearance by Pamela Anderson, Trump’s past parties have been as loud, lavish and unapologetically outrageous as the man himself. This year’s celebration is no exception. The president is throwing a military parade on June 14, which also coincides with Army day, complete with tanks, flyovers, musical fanfare and soldiers in full regalia.

Trump teased the event on Truth Social, calling it an “unforgettable” spectacle, “one like you’ve never seen before.” Over the decades, Trump has marked his birthdays with the kind of excess only he could pull off—from a spaceship launch inside a casino to a cake sculpted in his own image as Superman. One year, Eartha Kitt serenaded him in front of 400 guests. He’s blown out candles under laser shows, cut into cakes plastered with his real estate empire, and partied alongside everyone from Liza Minnelli to Billy Crystal. Here’s a look back at some of Trump’s most jaw-dropping birthday blowouts.

Donald Trump didn’t just throw a birthday party—he launched one, literally.

For his 42nd, the president celebrated in full spectacle at Trump’s Castle Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City (now the Golden Nugget), with a bash that opened with a 15-foot spaceship zooming from the stage to hover amid smoke and flashing lasers above the birthday boy and his wife Ivana, according to The Washington Post.

The night didn’t stop there. A magician took the stage, followed by a troupe of dancers performing a “version of Michael Jackson’s ‘Bad’ reworked to honor the real estate mogul.”

Then came the celebrity tributes: a telegram from President Ronald Reagan, and video birthday messages from Liza Minnelli, Billy Crystal, Dennis Miller and Joe Piscopo.

It was a birthday party only Trump could throw—complete with moon landings, MJ remixes and presidential shoutouts.

Donald Trump’s 44th birthday was less party, more spectacle—with a side of scandal.

Held in the Crystal Ballroom at his Atlantic City casino, the bash came as Trump battled headlines over his divorce from Ivana, mounting debt, and his very public affair with Marla Maples.

According to Buzzfeed, while entertainment reporters were allowed in, Village Voice journalist Wayne Barrett—who had spent over a decade investigating Trump—was blacklisted.

Barrett didn’t take the snub lying down. He tried to sneak in via a stairwell, but within 30 seconds was in handcuffs, arrested for defiant trespass.

His research assistant Timothy O’Brien did manage to crash the party, thanks to a waiter who mistook him for a guest and handed him champagne in the lobby.

Inside, the show went on. Trump received televised birthday wishes from Dolly Parton and Elton John.

Robin Leach stepped out of a giant replica of Trump Shuttle, and Joe Piscopo belted out “Happy Birthday” in full Frank Sinatra voice.

Swords, thrones and a Renaissance fantasy—Trump’s 47th birthday looked more like a medieval fever dream than a casino bash.

A eagle-eyed social media fan uncovered a photo of the original invitation, which showed a young Trump wielding a sword and sitting on a throne, with then-wife Marla Maples at his feet.

Banners lining the invitation displayed the various “kingdoms” of his empire—his casinos—with the invite declaring it “the birthday celebration of the ages starring Renaissance man Donald J. Trump” and promising “live jousting, dancing and splendid surprises” at Atlantic City’s Crystal Ballroom.

Marla Maples went all out, transforming Trump’s Castle casino (now the Golden Nugget) into a royal court decked in banners of his resorts. Guests were treated to dancing, live jousting and enough medieval pomp to make King Arthur blush.

And if that wasn’t wild enough, the following year’s bash went full jungle—Tarzan-themed, with Trump dubbed “Lord of the Financial Jungle.”

When Trump hit the big 5-0, Marla Maples made sure it was a spectacle worthy of her billionaire husband—complete with Swedish meatballs, a Superman cake and a gold balloon drop.

Held at Trump Tower, the evening oozed opulence. A violin trio and pianist played at the door as white-gloved attendants served champagne and strawberries. The press had its own roped-off red carpet section.

Marla went all out, ordering massive custom displays of Trump’s childhood photos—Trump in a tub, on a tricycle, even with his confirmation class—and topped it off with a mermaid ice sculpture of herself.

The party’s official run-of-show read: “7:30 P.M. D.J. Music is cut off; ‘New York, New York’ is played and the waterfall is cut off simultaneously; this is MARLA’s cue to take center stage, with DONALD at her side.”

Trump reportedly asked her to sing Wind Beneath My Wings—but Marla decided against it at the last minute.

For the finale, a Superman-themed cake shaped like Trump himself, complete with a money sign on his chest, rolled out as Eartha Kitt serenaded him with Happy Birthday and 600 gold balloons fell from the ceiling.

Trump’s 59th birthday bash at the Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City had it all—an enormous 15-foot, three-tier cake, flashing lights, and a very special guest: Baywatch icon Pamela Anderson.

Trump celebrated the occasion with the towering cake centrepiece while Anderson, then a high-profile Playboy Playmate, was paid $500 to attend.

Years later, she confirmed the claim during a chat with Jimmy Kimmel.

“When you’re a Playmate, they give you $500 a day to pretty much go anywhere, so I was hired at that time for a birthday party,” Anderson explained.

Kimmel couldn’t resist a jab, saying: “How sad that he has to hire people to come to his birthday party.”

Anderson didn’t hold back either. Recalling the event, she said it took place in 2005 and added: “He was with a wife – I don’t know which one.”

Pressed on what Trump was like, she simply replied: “He was nothing special.”

Donald Trump spent his 70th birthday rallying with supporters in the United States—but the most eye-catching celebration wasn’t even on American soil.

Across the globe, a little-known Hindu fringe group in India threw him a lavish party, hailing him as a global hero.

The Hindu Sena, who refer to Trump as a “savior of humanity” and “messiah against Islamic terror,” hosted the bizarre celebration at New Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. The event featured a 15-pound cake, a grand orchestra, and posters of Trump carrying a rifle.

Hindu Sena national president Vishnu Gupta told The Business Standard: “We are celebrating his birthday because he is our hero. We wish that he lives for thousands of years and removes the Islamic terrorism from this entire world.”

Unsurprisingly, the event sparked major backlash on social media, with critics slamming both the messaging and the imagery.

Still, even in his absence, Trump’s 70th managed to cause an international stir—complete with cake, rifles, and controversy.
