Samsung releases blockbuster upgrade for your 4K TV - here's how to get it today

If you're fed up with looking at a big blank screen every time you turn your TV off, there's good news. Samsung has just announced a major boost to its Art Store with a bunch of extra images being added which can be displayed when you aren't watching a movie or bingeing on boxsets. It basically turns your telly into an ever-changing work of art.
To make this feature appear even more enticing, the latest boost features a swathe of images from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars and National Geographic, which can all be shown in glorious 4K resolution.
Samsung says this update will transform living rooms into immersive digital galleries, with images from classics such as The Little Mermaid, Snow White, Tangled, and the Star Wars saga all now available.
Thanks to the addition of National Geographic content as well, Samsung owners also get access to breathtaking wildlife images of “Planet Earth".
So, how do you get this boost, and what TV do you need?
Samsung says its Art Store now offers over 3,500 curated artworks from more than 800 artists and 70 world-class galleries and museums.
First launched in 2017 with The Frame, the Art Store experience is now available on 2025 Samsung AI-powered Neo QLED and QLED TVs.
To access it simply head to Art Mode on your Frame or 2025 Samsung TV. Then tap on the Art Store and navigate to Membership. Here you select to join the Art Store and pay a monthly fee or one-off yearly price with things starting from £3.99.
Once activated, you get full access to all the artwork, including the new Disney images.
“We’re thrilled to expand our collaboration with Disney to offer their most beloved artwork to our global community of Art Store users,” said Heeyeong Ahn, Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “By offering a diverse range of artistic content that transcends genres and generations, we aim to enrich the everyday lives of our users with art.”
If you do treat yourself to the latest 2025 screens, you'll also get improved picture quality, better upscaling, a more immersive sound experience and AI upgrades to make sure you are always enjoying things at their best.
