Albano Carrisi in Peschici for “Favola Blu”: honorary citizenship and Trabucco Award for the Apulian singer-songwriter

Albano Carrisi will be the big star of the first day of “ Favola Blu ”, the new artistic-cultural event promoted by the Municipality of Peschici. The singer-songwriter from Cellino San Marco, one of the most famous voices of Italian music in the world, will be the guest of honor on Sunday 22 June 2025 , on the occasion of the official opening of the event.

He will be welcomed in the city by Mayor Luigi D'Arenzo and Councilor for Events Francesco D'Arenzo , who will accompany him in two distinct but equally significant moments for the community.

Honorary citizenship in the Municipality

The first appointment is set for 10:00 in the Council Room "D. Azzarone" of the Town Hall, where the artist will receive honorary citizenship of the Municipality of Peschici. A recognition strongly desired by the administration for the cultural, artistic and symbolic bond between Albano and the land of Puglia.

In the square with the book “The sun inside”

The day will continue in Piazza Sandro Pertini , where at 9:30 pm Carrisi will be the protagonist of the public evening dedicated to the presentation of his book “Il sole dentro” , an autobiographical work between memory, reflection and hope. During the event, the singer-songwriter will also receive the prestigious “Premio Trabucco” , now in its ninth edition : an award given to personalities who, through art and culture, have brought prestige to the Gargano area and the Mediterranean identity.

Eight days of culture, music and reflection

The “Favola Blu” review will be developed over eight days , with widespread and transversal events dedicated to art, literature, theater and music. The program was developed with the artistic direction of Pino Aprile , a well-known journalist and writer, and the coordination of the councilor delegated to Culture, Di Miscia .

With the presence of Albano and the intertwining of events focused on the enhancement of the territory and its cultural soul, Peschici is once again a candidate to be one of the beating hearts of the Gargano summer.
