Bari, Operation Vortice-Maestrale: A joint operation between the police and the Carabinieri has been underway since dawn.

BARI - Since the early hours of this morning, personnel from the State Police and the Provincial Carabinieri Command have been executing forty-one arrest warrants issued by the Attorney General's Office at the Bari Court of Appeal (Criminal Enforcement Office) against an equal number of individuals who received final convictions as part of Operation Vortice-Maestrale for serious crimes committed within the Metropolitan City of Bari. The investigation reconstructed the hierarchy and illicit activities of the Strisciuglio clan, dating back to 2015, for territorial control in the Libertà neighborhood of Bari, the clan's historic stronghold.
