Decarbonization: Ponte Rosso focuses on sustainability

The Multifunctional Service Center hosted the meeting titled " Decarbonization and Innovation ," organized by the Ponte Rosso – Tagliamento Consortium in collaboration with Alto Adriatico Energia and Renewable Technical Solutions Srl (RTS), a CVA Spa group company affiliated with the Smart Energy platform. The event focused on energy efficiency measures and potential savings on procurement costs. The panel of speakers was introduced by Sergio Barel , President of the Consortium, who presented the companies with the current economic context within which businesses are now required to act with a view to environmental sustainability.
Then speaking were Lavinia Clarotto , CEO of Alto Adriatico Energia , a consortium that operates as a purchasing group for electricity and natural gas for its subsidiaries, whose management and coordination is headed by Confindustria Alto Adriatico, and Vincenzo Rioli, managing director and partner of RTS .
Clarotto reiterated "the importance of energy savings and efficiency, given the highly volatile gas and electricity price environment, which continues to be very high and risks penalizing the competitiveness of our companies internationally." He then emphasized how "it is crucial to make the right choice and rely on solid suppliers for energy supplies, because every company has its own characteristics, needs, and consumption curves." Alto Adriatico Energia has been in business for over 25 years: with its consolidated experience, it serves companies, helping them make the best choices, supporting them in all relationships with suppliers, grid operators, and energy sector authorities, and helping them seize opportunities and incentives.
Next up was Vincenzo Rioli, partner of RTS Srl, a company directly affiliated with CVA, one of Italy's leading green energy companies and the only integrated producer operating exclusively with renewable energy sources (water, wind, and solar).
Starting with a presentation of the alarming data on global warming, Vincenzo Rioli of RTS focused his presentation on the opportunities the industrial world has to limit the worsening of climate conditions through energy efficiency measures and the increased use of renewable energy sources. He highlighted three case studies in particular—all under construction between the Ponte Rosso industrial zone and the North industrial zone in Spilimbergo—to demonstrate how concrete interventions can be achieved through projects of varying scope, tailored to the characteristics of industrial buildings and energy supply needs.
"The time to act is now," said Vincenzo Rioli of RTS. "It is essential to adopt concrete actions that address the challenges and opportunities presented by the current context. We are aware of the need to rethink the energy mix, and as a group, we aim to offer effective solutions to rationalize and reduce consumption, actively contributing to the decarbonization process. Our vision is based on building strategic partnerships, such as those already established with the Ponte Rosso Consortium and AAE, which are essential to successfully addressing the energy challenges of the future."
"The role of the Ponte Rosso Consortium," stated Daniele Gerolin , general manager of the consortium, "is to act as a direct contact for technical and administrative matters, enabling us to accelerate the process and identify the most appropriate solutions for launching these initiatives. We want to be a partner for companies at a time when environmental and energy issues must go hand in hand."
