Electric Cars: The 10 Most Fuel-Efficient Models

The environmental impact of cars has become a very important factor, and this is also why Green NCAP exists. This program evaluates the eco-friendliness of various vehicles, supported by the European New Car Testing Body ( Euro NCAP ) in collaboration with European governments. It tests and analyzes models with different engines, thus evaluating their energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. Green NCAP evaluates at least three vehicles per year for each specific category and then publishes the results of its tests , where it is possible to verify which ones have achieved the best performance in terms of fuel consumption and environmental impact . In 2024, 18 electric cars were evaluated by Green NCAP. Below are the 10 vehicles with this engine that consume the least electricity, one for each brand, available on the Italian market, which in the coming months will also be supported by the new Ecobonus incentives for battery-powered cars. From tenth to first place : BMW i4 eDrive 35, Skoda Enyaq 85, Toyota bZ4X, Mg 4, Jeep Avenger Summit Electric, Byd Dolphin, Volkswagen ID.7, Tesla Model 3, Hyundai Kona Electric, Opel Corsa Electric.
