Elisabetta Franchi hits a cyclist and posts: "My Monday". Social media storm

Accident for Elisabetta Franchi , the Bolognese designer and owner of the Betty Blue brand who returned to the limelight for an episode that saw her as the protagonist in real life and on social media, with plenty of controversy and criticism.

Franchi, over the weekend, hit a cyclist near the Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack in Imola, and then she herself recounted the incident on Instagram, also posting a photo of the ambulance and the injured man on the stretcher. "All's well that ends well . I'm very sorry. It's the first time. I'm very sorry," she wrote. And again in a second story, the photo of the cyclist who was hit: "I didn't actually see him. But at least he didn't get hurt. My Monday."

And again, in a series of subsequent videos , sitting in the passenger seat she returns to the episode: "Yesterday I hit a cyclist, it had never happened to me, he's fine. I love sports cars, I buy them, I like driving them. Now a beautiful car is coming for me, a Dallara, but where can I drive them? Not on the highway, because they'll fine me. If I go to my coach, there's a cyclist who arrives right in front of me. But I told him: I would have liked to be in your place". Then later she informs about the injured man's condition: "I heard from the cyclist, he was released, grazed, nothing broken . I'm starting to breathe". The social media storm was inevitable.
