Giovanni Allevi reveals the special guest for the Taormina concert on July 5th

After the silence imposed by illness, Giovanni Allevi returns to speak to his audience with the most authentic language he knows: that of notes. The summer of 2025 marks the return of an artist who has gone through pain and made it into melody, who has lived the darkness and has chosen to tell it with the light of music. With four exclusive concert events in some of the most evocative locations in Italy in Rome, Taormina, Venice and Florence, “Musica dall'Anima” comes to life, a unique, intense project, designed to celebrate life in all its nuances. The Taormina event is organized by Show Biz, Live Spettacoli, Concerto and Gamp.

In “Music from the Soul” there is the whole world of Giovanni Allevi Each evening will be enriched by a universal theme and the presence of a special guest, creating a dialogue between sound and thought, between emotion and reflection. – In Rome, on June 20 at the Baths of Caracalla, the theme will be “Heresy”, and on stage with Giovanni Allevi there will be Professor Alessandro Barbero, one of the most authoritative and beloved Italian historians, capable of making History alive, provocative and human. – In Taormina, on July 5 at the Teatro Antico, “The Sacred” will be the object of reflection with theologian and philosopher Vito Mancuso, a critical and free voice of contemporary religious thought, author of essays that question spirituality with depth and courage. – In Venice, on July 8 at the Gran Teatro La Fenice, the theme will be “Madness”, introduced by the philosopher Luciano Floridi, one of the world's leading experts in digital ethics and artificial intelligence, who has been working on the relationship between man and technology for years. – In Florence, on July 19 at the Parco Mediceo in Pratolino, the key word will be “Beauty”, with guest Amalia Ercoli Finzi, aerospace engineer, pioneer in the field of space missions and inspiring model for entire generations of young women in science.
