Home Accident: Obese Man Rescued with Special Stretcher

Emergency workers struggled this morning to help an obese man from Prata di Pordenone who had fallen to the floor in his home and was unable to walk. Emergency responders were forced to call for help from the Sacile firefighters, who reached the scene of the domestic accident with a ladder truck. After securing the man to a special stretcher, the stretcher was then attached to the ladder truck's basket and lowered from an apartment window to street level. From there, the patient was handed over to paramedics for transport to the hospital.
