Last days of February with bad weather

The worsening that began over the weekend continues - after a brief spring interlude - with rain and gray skies in much of the Peninsula, especially in the North-West and in the Center-North. Bad weather from Wednesday in the Center-North with snow up to 800-1000 meters in the Alps and up to 1200-1300 meters in the Northern Apennines; the heaviest rain, up to 50-60 liters per square meter, is expected between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna in the morning, then from the afternoon other showers and local thunderstorms will spread to the North-East and the Lower Tyrrhenian Sea.

The wind will blow during the day with a strong Mistral wind on Sardinia and Sicily, and a strong Bora wind on the Upper Adriatic.
