Milan, flees from police and crashes with scooter: 20-year-old dead

The patrol car was engaged in a routine check of the territory along Viale Ortles, in the southern quadrant of the city. At the sight of the officers, the scooter driven by the young man turned into Via Cassano d'Adda, accelerating further. There the crash at high speed. The police called for help. The boy, taken in red code to the Humanitas hospital, died in hospital around 5:30.

At the emergency room of the Humanitas hospital in Rozzano, on the outskirts of Milan, after the news of the death, about thirty friends and relatives of the boy, mostly women, gathered. A spontaneous gathering, to show their grief for the loss of the boy. There was - as far as we know - no tension with the health personnel or with the police.
