Murder of Rancilio heiress, son acquitted

Guido Pozzolini Gobbi Rancilio, accused of killing his mother Fiorenza, heiress of a well-known family of real estate developers, by hitting her with a gym dumbbell in their home in the center of Milan in December 2023, was acquitted due to total mental insanity. The Court of Assizes of Milan decided this, accepting the requests of the prosecutor Ilaria Perinu and the defense, and ordering a 10-year security measure in a Rems for the 36-year-old.
