Sensational news from INPS: '10 Piotte Bonus' approved | €1000 to the first to apply: immediate deadline

Great news for some categories of people who can claim a bonus. What you need to know and requirements.
In Italy, during periods of economic crisis , governments often resort to the establishment of bonuses and incentives. These measures, although with different purposes and methods of delivery, have a common goal: to mitigate the negative effects of economic difficulties on citizens and on the productive fabric of the country.
One of the main functions of bonuses is to support the purchasing power of families. In a context of economic uncertainty, with inflation or job losses, bonuses can represent tangible help in dealing with daily expenses, from the purchase of basic necessities to paying bills.
Another fundamental purpose of bonuses is to stimulate domestic demand and, consequently, the economy. By incentivizing the purchase of specific goods and services, such as low-consumption household appliances or building renovation interventions.
Bonuses can be used as tools for social equity , aimed at the most vulnerable segments of the population or sectors particularly affected by the crisis. Through the provision of targeted subsidies , an attempt is made to reduce inequalities and offer a “buffer” to those who are in greater difficulty.
Pros and Cons of BonusesGovernment bonuses, while being tools to stimulate the economy and support citizens, have a dual aspect. Among the advantages is the ability to provide immediate relief to families and businesses in times of crisis, increasing purchasing power and incentivizing consumption. They can support specific sectors in difficulty, keeping production chains active and safeguarding employment.
However, there are also disadvantages. Bonuses can often lead to an increase in public debt if not adequately funded. Their long-term effectiveness is debated: they can create distortions in the market, incentivize non-essential spending or, in some cases, be ineffective if not well targeted. Furthermore, their management can be complex and expensive.

INPS has provided a one-off bonus of €1,000 for families with a child born or adopted between January 1 and April 16. Applications must be submitted by June 16, 2025, an extraordinary deadline set for those who had the event in that period. The benefit, provided for by the Budget Law, is automatic and simplified, and aims to support new parents with initial expenses.
The contribution is due to Italian or EU parents residing in Italy , or non-EU parents with a regular permit, with ISEE minors up to €40,000. The payment, tax-free, occurs in a single solution within the month following the event. The application can be sent online via SPID, CIE or CNS, or by contacting patronages or the INPS Contact Center.
