Stock Market: Milan extends to 38,892 points, its highest since 2007

European stock markets are moving in positive territory ahead of Wall Street. Milan is lengthening its pace with the Ftse Mib gaining 1.1% to 38,892 points, reaching its highest level since November 2007. Piazza Affari is being driven by the performance of banks with Morgan Stanley having revised upwards its estimates for the main Italian credit institutions. Madrid is rising (+1.3%), as are London and Paris (+0.5%), Paris (+0.1%). On the bond front, government bond yields are falling. The spread between BTPs and Bunds continues at 112 points, with the rate of the Italian ten-year bond at 3.58% and the German one at 2.45 percent.
