Tensions are running high in Milan between pro-Palestinian protesters and law enforcement: clashes have now moved from Piazza Duca d'Aosta to Via Vittor Pisani, the avenue connecting the Central Station to Piazza della Repubblica. Protesters, chanting "Free Palestine," threw stones and bottles and were repelled with tear gas and batons.
