The 44th Rally dell'Appennino Tosi-Rusce, a full-throttle challenge

Everything is ready for the forty-fourth rally of the Appennino Reggiano , the third round of the Coppa Rally di zona 6. There is much anticipation for a stellar challenge in which seventy-two crews in total are registered: lent by the IRC series and the Italian Absolute Rally Championship, there are "names" that will fight for success, starting with the 2024 winner, Gianluca Tosi , paired with Del Barba.

Also thanks to the good performance obtained at the recent "Rally del Taro", the driver from Carpineti will set off for the encore but on his way he will find a motivated Antonio Rusce , paired with Gabriele Zanni, who instead signed the roll of honor in 2017. The driver from Rubiera is also in great shape, having run the last races of the "tricolore" with great strength among the private drivers. The 2024 edition was won, in fact, by the locals Tosi-Del Barba, ahead of Rusce-Zanni and Razzini-Marcomini, for a podium all signed Skoda.

There will be two more days involved in the event, with Castelnovo Monti and also Carpineti the beating hearts of the race. It starts today with the shakedown for all participants in Villaberza for a length of 2.57 km from 12:30 to 16:30, then there will be the publication of the starting order at 17:00, the briefing Briefing in Felina at 17:30 and the opening ceremony with the departure of the first car in Piazza Martiri della Libertà in Castelnovo at 20:01, to conclude with the night regrouping in Piazza della Repubblica in Carpineti.

The actual challenge will take place all day on Sunday 22nd, with the regrouping leaving at 9am from Carpineti and arriving at 5.55pm again in Castelnovo, but in Via Roma. Carpineti will also be involved in the regrouping, from the night one between the two days, to the other two on Sunday while the Service Park will be in the Felina Industrial Area.

As for the presence of the public, there are large bands of distance from the race course, specifically marked out, in which the presence of spectators is prohibited. In fact, safety must always come first, both for the drivers and for the people who intend to attend the event, so the organization recommends all those who will be attending the competition to carefully follow the regulations issued by the Prefecture and scrupulously respect the instructions that will be given by the police and the race officials on duty. Furthermore, the roads involved in the sporting event will, obviously, be closed to normal road traffic and interested parties are invited to consult the website of the municipality of Castelnovo Monti and that of Maremma corse, organizer of the event.
