These cities are among several where large-scale protests have erupted since June 6 against raids on undocumented migrants. Trump has faced legal challenges and criticism for his response to the protests, particularly his use of the military to quell the demonstrations. Trump said he had ordered "the entire administration to invest every resource possible in this effort." He also vowed to bar entry to "anyone who would jeopardize the internal tranquility of the United States."
