Work on the Provincial Road has been completed: the bridge over the Alta Padovana has reopened.

Starting today, Saturday, August 9, Provincial Road 44 "di Sant'Ambrogio - Borgo Rustega" in Rustega di Camposampiero will be reopened to traffic after a period of closure for maintenance work.

The work was carried out over the summer, in consultation with the municipal administration, to minimize disruption. The construction site, which opened on June 9th at km 3+400, resulted in a complete suspension of traffic, with diversions to alternative routes. Thanks to the completion of the work on schedule, the bridge will now be fully accessible, returning a safe and renovated infrastructure to the community and motorists. "Thanks to ministerial funding," stated Provincial Councilor Stefano Baraldo, "we were able to plan and implement work on numerous bridges in the Province of Padua, including the Rustega bridge. We are returning a vital, renovated, and safe infrastructure to the community, confirming the Province's commitment to ensuring efficient traffic flow and maximum safety for those who travel our roads every day."

Camposampiero Mayor Katia Maccarone added: "I thank the Province of Padua for the significant investment that led to the complete reconstruction of the Marzeneghetto bridge in the center of Rustega. It was no easy task. In agreement between the two agencies, we concentrated the work during the summer, even though some inconvenience was unavoidable. Now we have a completely new structure with all the necessary safety features, which the old structure no longer provided."
