"I simply tried to listen to them, I don't even know if I succeeded, but I know that I tried. And I want to dedicate this award to them". This is the message from the award winner Maria De Filippi referring to the new generations and addressed to the president of the Lombardy Region, Attilio Fontana, on the occasion of the Rosa Camuna Awards 2025. An edition, yesterday's, presented yesterday at Palazzo Lombardia by Enrico Galletti of RTL 102.5, with a particular focus on young people, social issues and welfare, "all central and fundamental elements of the way we govern our region", explained governor Fontana. An award went to the television program "X Factor" and to the singer Mimì. For social issues, awards were given to Don Chino Pezzoli and Don Virginio Colmegna "priests and men always on the front line to support the weakest and most fragile" and doctors Adele Sgarella and Francesca Rovera. For the 2025 edition, the Regional Council received 172 nominations: the outcome of the Council's evaluations led to the selection of 5 Awards and 10 Mentions, in addition to the Awards conferred by the President of the Council. Awarded to Bernardo Caprotti (in memoriam), the City Angels Association, Simone Barlaam (Paralympic champion), Rossano Carrisi (Federation of Volunteer Rescue Workers) and Giorgia Colombo (journalist). Among the "Thematic Awards", the one to Marzio Tremaglia for Culture and Carlo Lucchina for healthcare (both in memoriam), to Massimo Boldi for entertainment and Roberto Boninsegna for his sports career. The Rosa Camuna Awards 2025 will also be awarded to Federica Brignone (sporting successes); Cesc Fàbregas (sporting successes and territorial marketing); Teo Teocoli (entertainment); Ron Rosalino Cellamare (music and poetry).
