At Matera Fiction the documentary on Gabriella Ferri was awarded

Mario Rossini and his Red Film have been awarded the special production prize by Matera Fiction for Gabriella by Alessandro Galluzzi, a documentary dedicated to Gabriella Ferri. The award ceremony, hosted by Barbara Capponi, a journalist for TG1, will take place at the Guerrieri municipal cinema and theatre in Matera on Saturday 8 June. Matera Fiction is an observatory on television and film series, sponsored by the European Union, the Basilicata region, the municipality and province of Matera, the University of Bologna, and the University of Basilicata, scheduled to take place in Matera from 4 to 8 June. Its aim is to raise awareness of the settings, plots and characters, themes and production trends most commonly used in international fiction by meeting the professionals involved in production. The documentary Gabriella, produced by Mario Rossini for Red Film in collaboration with Rai Documentari and Cinecittà, is an intimate story that retraces the life of Gabriella Ferri from her birth in the Testaccio neighbourhood to her success in the 1980s. An iconic voice who sang, performed and loved Rome as much as Rome loved her.
