The concerts at Parco Delle Caserme Rosse with Bonsai continue. Tonight's guest (at 8:30 pm) will be bass legend Marcus Miller. Nicknamed the "Superman of Soul," a two-time Grammy winner, he is considered one of the masters of funk for his distinctive style. Born in Brooklyn on June 14, 1959, between 1981 and 1982 he met his idol Miles Davis and worked with him on several albums, including Tutu and Music from Siesta.

Between the 1980s and 2000s, he released several solo albums, including The Sun Don't Lie, Tales, and M², which won him a Grammy for Best Contemporary Jazz Album. His other Grammy was for Best R&B Song in 1992 with "Power of Love," written for Luther Vandross.
