Starting tomorrow, Slow Lake Como is organizing four exciting evening tours to the Vecchia Cava di Camerlata . Throughout the summer, evening guided tours are scheduled in the Spina Verde Regional Park , exploring a significant site, rich in history and beauty, normally closed to the public. The Vecchia Cava, the "inaccessible heart of Spina Verde," as it is known, is a fascinating and mysterious place, hidden behind a rock face. A disused sandstone quarry, it was here that for millennia the precious material was extracted, which the people of Como throughout the ages used for their most important monuments. The engaging and evocative tour takes you on an incredible journey into the history, nature, and authentic soul of the area. It is scheduled for tomorrow, August 1st and 22nd, and September 5th, starting at 9:30 pm and lasting approximately an hour and a half, departing from Piazza Camerlata, where the meeting point is set. To participate, you must register on the website www.slowlakecomo.com , where you can also find information on other tours and guided visits scheduled in the coming weeks. Pa.Pi.
