Francesco Parravicini and opera singer Sofia Maria Riva in concert at the OppArt Theatre in Sovico.
The overwhelming energy of 1950s rock 'n' roll and a blend of opera and poetry in the name of love. These are the two concerts that will enliven the OppArt cultural center and theater in Sovico this week.
On Friday at 8 pm, Angel of Rock , a trio featuring Alessandro Guido on vocals and bass, Alessio Guido on drums, and Sergio Osso on guitar, will take to the stage on Via Giovanni da Sovico. The band will take you back to the roaring years of hair gel and full skirts with a vintage evening dedicated entirely to 1950s rock. The trio of musicians will set the air ablaze with the pulsating rhythm of rock 'n' roll and the driving, explosive songs of rockabilly, reprising some of the timeless hits that have made rock history.
On Saturday, again at 8 pm, the genre and atmosphere will change completely with the show " Love Lyrics - The Song of the Soul between Music and Poetry ," featuring pianist Francesco Parravicini, soprano Sofia Maria Riva, and actor Alfredo Oppio, who will read some poems. Together, they will lead you on an emotional journey where opera meets poetry, giving voice to the deepest feelings of the human soul. Spanning eras and styles, they will recount love in all its forms, from passion to nostalgia, from desire to joy to loss.
