Great Jazz. World Music at the Visconti Castle.

The sounds of jazz resonate at Legnano's Castello Visconteo . For the final leg of the month of " JAZZaltro ," the event that since 2010 has brought the sounds and music of the world to the provinces of Varese and Milan, this evening (again at 9 p.m.) we move to Legnano. In collaboration with the Municipality of Legnano and as part of the La Bella Estate events program, the Vince Abbracciante Connections Quartet will perform, a group composed of four talented jazz musicians with a profoundly melodic approach and great expressive power.
Vince Abbracciante (accordion), Aldo Di Caterino (flute), Carlos Buschini (acoustic bass), and special guest Achille Succi on bass clarinet and alto saxophone. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held in the auditorium of the Gianni Rodari School at Via dei Salici 4.
Apulian Vincenzo Abbracciante is considered one of the most exciting accordionists to ever appear on the Italian scene. It's no coincidence that Richard Galliano, a global figurehead for the accordion, has repeatedly cited him as one of the greatest talents he's ever encountered.
The young flute player Aldo Di Caterino from Bari is a true virtuoso, an original artist and composer. Gifted with great expressive power, a soloist with a fluid and confident phrasing, capable of unexpected lyricism and poetic flashes, he is highly esteemed even by his more experienced and experienced colleagues.
Born in Despeñaderos in the province of Córdoba, Argentina, bassist and composer Carlos “el tero” Buschini settled permanently in Italy in 1989 and has since quickly established himself on the European music scene, playing with top Italian and French jazz musicians.
Achille Succi is one of the most appreciated musicians on the national scene (and beyond). Among the many Italian and international artists with whom he has collaborated are Uri Caine, Ralph Alessi, Louis Sclavis, Ernst Reijseger, David Liebman, Franco D'Andrea, Ettore Fioravanti, and Giorgio Gaslini.
