Milan and the Rising City. From Vittorini to Testori

Fabbrica del Vapore and Scalpendi present Milano città che sale (Milan, City Rising): the first episodic exhibition celebrating the spirit and vitality of Milan. From today until January 18th, a unique journey pays homage to the metropolis that, over the decades, has welcomed brilliant minds and diverse social realities, forging connections that have shaped a design vision with an international reach.

The exhibition is made up of seven episodes/displays, each lasting 21 days, which together tell this extraordinary collective story through the story of the contributions of seven emblematic figures and movements from the 1940s to today: from Elio Vittorini to Giovanni Testori and Albe Steiner , from the Laboratory of Militant Communication to Milanottanta, up to the more recent experiences of Paolo Rosa and Luisa Spinatelli .
