We wait for the summer season just to show them off: sandals. And, mind you, they shouldn't be mistaken for ordinary slippers. From season to season, open-toe footwear changes and evolves, creating new trends. There are four key trends in particular for summer 2025: the first are "snake" sandals, with rigid straps that wrap around the ankles and calves, available in both low-heeled and high-heeled versions. The latter variant is very much in vogue, sometimes featuring rhinestones or small diamonds applied to the fabric. Especially popular are "flip flops," sandals, usually with a high heel, which bring the flip-flop version up to date with an extremely minimalist style that's reminiscent of the 1990s. "Cage" sandals are those with a cage shape, which enclose the toe, giving the outfit a vintage and elegant style. Last but not least, lace-up sandals: from corsets to gladiator styles, if paired well, will make your figure look bold.
