Teatro dell'Efebo: Ovid the poet relegated with Ugo Pagliai

The third seasonal event in the Classical and Mythological Theater series at the Teatro dell'Efebo in Agrigento. Performing tomorrow, Saturday, July 19th, at 9:00 PM, "Ovid the Relegated Poet. Metamorphosis of Exile," directed by Daniele Salvo, with a text by Luigi Raimo and a cast including Daniele Salvo (who previously performed at the Teatro dell'Efebo in "The Bacchae by Euripides"), Barbara Capucci, Tommaso Garrè, and a giant of Italian theater, Ugo Pagliai, one of the most well-known and beloved actors of all time, who have enjoyed a distinguished career spanning decades in theater, film, and television.

Tomorrow's performance retraces Ovid's transformation from poet to exile through the stories of his masterpiece. Giuseppe Pendolino, president of the Libero Consorzio, expresses great satisfaction with the high quality of the 2025 festival, the result of a specific choice by the Libero Consorzio Comunale di Agrigento to provide the local area and tourists with significant cultural entertainment opportunities.
