The Naples Fringe Festival, directed by Laura Valente, is back with 16 free summer events.

Following the successful debut of philosopher Massimo Cacciari and Mimmo Borrelli's Opera in Transizione, the Naples Fringe Festival, under the artistic direction of Laura Valente, is back with 16 summer events that will transform the city into a multi-purpose stage—the true heart of the Napoli 2500 program—including theaters, foundations, and even archaeological parks, the Real Albergo dei Poveri, Palazzo Venezia, and the Secondigliano prison. The Naples Fringe Festival is inspired by the Edinburgh Fringe model and organized in partnership with the Milan and Turin festivals. It kicks off with Razze di mare in Metropolitana (featuring the Centro Nazionale di Produzione della Danza – Körper) and A Risa – Ria Rosa e Farfariello at the Church of the Compagnia della Disciplina della Santa Croce. On July 18th (6 pm) Chiano Chiano at the Parco delle Tombe di Virgilio and Leopardi, already sold out.
