I love you, Niccolò,” was Vasco Rossi 's message on social media, honoring Ultimo , the stage name of Niccolò Moriconi, a 29-year-old Roman singer-songwriter who rose to fame at the 2018 Sanremo Music Festival , winning the 'Newcomers' section. Since then, he has achieved continuous success, including 42 stadiums, 84 platinum records, and 18 gold records.

Vasco Rossi also accompanied his social media post with a couple of photos of himself and Ultimo. Among the comments was Ultimo himself, who wrote: "You can't beat the unbeatable. I love you too, Vasco."

Vasco Rossi 's concert at Modena Park, held on July 1, 2017, in his hometown, was organized by the Komandante to celebrate his first 40 years of musical activity. The event was hosted at Enzo Ferrari Park and, until Ultimo's success, held the Italian record for the concert with the highest number of paying spectators (225,173 tickets sold). Modena Park 2017 was the 781st concert of Vasco Rossi's career.
