Mediobanca, no golden power for Banca Generali takeover bid

The Presidency of the Council of Ministers has announced that it has decided, in response to the Ministry of Economy and Finance's proposal, not to exercise its special "golden power" powers in relation to Mediobanca's public exchange offer for Banca Generali. Piazzetta Cuccia announced this in a statement.
