Alvaro Vitali, sister accuses Stefania Corona at funeral: "She distanced him from us"

Alvaro Vitali, sister accuses Stefania Corona at funeral: "She distanced him from us"

Pain, tension and vitriolic words at the funeral of Alvaro Vitali , who recently passed away. As she left the church of San Pancrazio, the actor's sister made very strong statements against Stefania Corona , the historic partner of the famous interpreter of Pierino.

"His wife took him away from us," she told reporters, visibly shaken. A harsh accusation, which reveals an unresolved and never overcome family pain. According to his sister, since Vitali met Stefania, something has changed forever: "Before, he was one of us. Then what happened happened."

The real blow comes when she says that the actor had been ill for some time and that at that very delicate moment, Corona wanted to leave him : «We had seen each other in March, happy. Then everything changed. He was ill and she wanted to leave».

The story becomes more tender when the sister recalls her brother's early days: "He worked in a chandelier shop, he was 17. Then Fellini arrived. He was looking for him for a comic role, he made him laugh with a joke, and that's where it all started." She adds, with a bitter smile: "Fellini's wife was in love with him."

Carlo Verdone was also present at the funeral, while many colleagues from the entertainment world chose, amidst controversy and silence, not to attend.
