Corriere della Sera and Repubblica go down, Gazzetta dello Sport soars and with it also... Who's up and who's down - Ads data May 2025
Corriere della Sera as always in command with 220 thousand copies in the month of May 2025 , but the RCS newspaper drops by about 5 thousand copies compared to the previous month. This is the data that emerges from the latest Ads data (paper + digital).
Nice acceleration for Gazzetta dello Sport which - in the month of Antonio Conte's Napoli's Scudetto and the Champions League final lost by Inter against PSG - rises to 145,702 (compared to 138,977 in April) and strengthens its second position in the ranking.
La Repubblica confirms its position on the third step of the podium: the newspaper published by Gedi, however, sees La Rosea move away and drops to 136,826 (it was 138,465).
Top 5 confirmed with Sole 24 Ore and Avvenire (which goes down by 7 thousand copies and reaches 100,031).
There is no change in the positions close behind, with La Stampa ahead of Il Messaggero , Il Fatto Quotidiano , QN - Il Resto del Carlino and Gazzettino (which closes the top 10).
The trend is also clearly growing for the Corriere dello Sport which, like the Gazzetta, has reported the twists and turns on the scudetto front (first the Inter-Napoli head-to-head and then the Neapolitan celebration) in addition to the Champions League.
