Compact majority alongside Fedriga. Opposition: you are ridiculous

Motion 158 on the update of the Fedriga executive's government program was presented today in the Chamber of the Regional Council of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The document was drafted and shared by the majority coalition following the government crisis that broke out in May - and then resolved - with 7 out of 10 assessors ready to hand over their responsibilities to the president. On the motion, governor Massimiliano Fedriga, present in the Chamber, raised the question of government, which will be voted on by roll call on July 1.
“What we are presenting,” explained the first signatory, the group leader of the Lega Antonio Calligaris, “is a motion that arises from the need to respond to a debate, within the majority, on the key principles to be shared for the continuation of the legislature,” a debate that “has never touched our unity in the Council. If there was a crisis, it has only affected the opposition that has not understood the situation, unlike the Groups supporting this Administration that have continued to carry out their work in favor of the citizens of Fvg.” The document did not convince the opposition. “Today we witnessed the last episode of a grotesque farce” by the center-right, said the group leader of the PD, Diego Moretti. For the group leader of the Mixed Group Rosaria Capozzi (M5S), it is the “epilogue of an unseemly affair.” For Serena Pellegrino (Avs), “the subtitle of this day is: much ado about nothing.” According to Furio Honsell (Open Sinistra Fvg) the “motion does not address the real reason for the crisis”.
