This was stated by the Regional Councillor of the Mixed Group, Marco Casucci (Noi Moderati), after the Government's announcement that it had challenged the regional law on medically assisted suicide before the Constitutional Court.
"This is an unconstitutional rule. The matter of end-of-life involves choices of an ethical, moral and legal nature, and it is a matter that concerns the State exclusively - says councilor Casucci known for his battle in the Tuscan parliament against this law -. On this delicate matter it is unacceptable that each Region goes in disarray. The Government has put a stop to the risk of creating regulatory chaos."
