A meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is scheduled to follow. Also on the table are the situation in the Middle East, tensions between Israel and Iran , the conflict in Ukraine and the issue of tariffs.

After Prime Minister Meloni, it is the turn of, in order, Anthony Albanese (Australia as a guest), Keir Starmer (UK), Friedrich Merz (Germany), Antonio Costa (President of the European Council), Cyril Ramaphosa (South Africa, also as a guest), Ursula von der Leyen (President of the European Commission), and Shigeru Ishiba (Japan). Then, at 7 pm local time (3 am in Italy), Emmanuel Macron and, lastly, Donald Trump at 9 pm local time.
G7 starts tomorrow, the programThe work will start tomorrow with the first three sessions (Global Economy, Economic Growth, Security and Resilience, Secure Communities), followed by the working dinner which is considered one of the crucial moments of the summit as leaders are expected to discuss geopolitical issues. The next day, a session dedicated to "A Strong and Sovereign Ukraine" (with the participation of President Volodymyr Zelensky and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte ).
According to the program, the Canadian presidency will hold the summit conclusions in the penultimate session, followed by the concluding session on energy security open to the various leaders of the invited countries.
