Political polls show the FdI dropping by more than a point. The M5S gains ground.

Fratelli d'Italia (Brothers of Italy) has suffered a sharp decline, losing more than one point while still maintaining its leading position. This is according to the latest Agi/Youtrend Supermedia, a weighted average of national polls on voting intentions conducted from June 26 to July 9. During the days when tensions within the ruling coalition mounted repeatedly, first over the debate on a third term—finally concluded—and then over the ius scholae (right to school) proposed by Forza Italia, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni 's party suffered a sharp decline, losing 1.2% to 29.1%.

The M5S also confirms its good health, rising half a percentage point in two weeks to 12.7%. All other parties remain fairly stable. The Democratic Party, for example, is at 22.3%, only slightly changing, losing 0.3%. The neck-and-neck battle between Forza Italia and the League continues. Antonio Tajani 's party, reeling from comments made by the founder's son, Pier Silvio Berlusconi , regarding new faces within FI and the opposition to the citizenship reform relaunched by the party's leader, is at 8.9% (-0.2%). The League is trailing, at 8.5% (+0.2%). AVS remains stable.
