Milan – Today was the day of the Rosa Camuna Awards 2025 , which took place at Palazzo Lombardia as per tradition on May 29, on the day of the Festa della Lombardia . This is the highest honor of the Region. Among the awardees was also Maria De Filippi, in reference to her role among the new generations: “I simply tried to listen to them, I don’t even know if I succeeded, but I know that I tried. And I want to dedicate this award to them" she said in her message.

In addition to Maria De Filippi, remaining in the 'youth' sphere, recognition went to the television program 'X Factor' and to the singer Mimì, winner of the last edition . Remaining in the social sphere, President Fontana then awarded Don Chino Pezzoli and Don Virginio Colmegna "priests and men always on the front line to support the weakest and most fragile" and doctors Adele Sgarella and Francesca Rovera " women who, with tireless commitment, are on the front line alongside women affected by breast cancer".

For the 2025 edition, the Regional Council received 172 applications: the outcome of the Council's evaluations led to the selection of 5 Awards and 10 Mentions, in addition to the Awards conferred by the President of the Council.

“In addition to those who have been awarded the recognition – commented Federico Romani, president of the Regional Council – our thanks go to all the people of Lombardy . They are the engine of an exceptional region that, thanks to their daily commitment, expressed in every sector, make our territory and our institution great”. “Today’s celebration – concluded Romani – pushes us to look to the future with ever greater confidence and optimism”.

And the Regional Council itself indicated as winners: Bernardo Caprotti (in memory), the City Angels Association, Simone Barlaam (Paralympic champion), Rossano Carrisi (Federation of Volunteer Rescue Workers) and Giorgia Colombo (journalist) who received the recognition from presidents Fontana and Romani.
