Single May check: when the money arrives (dates) and incoming arrears

Single May check: when the money arrives (dates) and incoming arrears

Single allowance May , important news. May is a very important month for the measure provided by INPS for families with dependent children.

In fact, starting this month, INPS will begin to pay the monthly amounts of the single allowance updated on the basis of the new ISEE data. The payment will be made between May 18 and 20 for those who have not made any changes to their family or income situation. Instead, for those who have submitted a new Single Substitutive Declaration (DSU) during 2025, the credit could be postponed towards the end of the month.

To benefit from the full amounts of the single allowance, it is essential to have submitted the updated ISEE declaration for 2025. Those who have not done so by February 28 will receive a check calculated on the minimum amount provided. But be careful, there is still time: the deadline to regularize the position is set for June 30, 2025. By submitting the DSU within this period, you will also be able to obtain the recovery of arrears starting from March.

The single allowance is automatically renewed for those who have already benefited from it in previous years, provided that the application has been accepted and there are no significant changes in the family unit. However, to obtain a personalized amount, it is essential to submit a new DSU for 2025. In the absence of an update account, the amount will be calculated on minimum values established by law.

Those who submit the DSU by June 30, 2025 will still be able to benefit from the retroactive reimbursement starting from March, thanks to the recalculation based on the new parameters.

The Single Substitutive Declaration can be filled out online through the ISEE Single Portal. The following must be kept in mind:

The family unit to be declared is the one in force at the time of the request. The incomes in consideration refer to the second calendar year preceding the one of the presentation. The movable and immovable assets are calculated on the basis of the amount owned as of December 31, 2024.

The process involves:

Use of the pre-compiled DSU , available on the INPS website. Modification and completion of self-declared data. Digital delivery by all adult members of the family unit. Forwarding to the ISEE System for validation.

Once confirmed, the Revenue Agency sends INPS the data needed to calculate the allowance.

The amount of the single allowance varies based on the characteristics of the family unit and the particular cases. Among the main increases recognized are:

The amounts are diversified based on the degree of disability:

Severe disability: + 109.1 euros Medium disability: + 97.7 euros

Non-self-sufficiency: + 120.6 euros These increases are paid regardless of the ISEE value.

For families with at least three minor children, the amount increases based on the ISEE bracket. The values vary from a maximum of 85.4 euros (for low incomes) to a minimum of 17.2 euros (for higher incomes).

A fixed increase of 23 euros per month is foreseen for mothers under the age of 21.

This increase is also modulated on the ISEE, with a maximum ceiling of 34.4 euros/month for those who fall within the first brackets and zero euros for those who exceed 45,939.56 euros of economic indicator.

In addition to those indicated above, there remain some temporary increases for specific categories:

Temporary increase for those who have switched from ANF to AUU: valid for January and February 2025, guarantees compensation for any losses compared to the previous regime (valid for families with ISEE less than 25,000 euros). 50% more for children under one year of age: Valid until the child's first birthday. 50% more for children between 1 and 3 years of age (in the presence of at least three dependent children), if the ISEE is within the high range.

Flat rate increase of 150 euros/month for families with four or more children.
