The majority is united with Meloni, but the League warns: "Be careful with military spending"

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni spoke this morning in the Senate Chamber ahead of the European Council on June 26 and 27. The focus was on the crisis in the Middle East and military spending and participation in NATO. While the opposition made itself heard in a bitter confrontation , the majority rallied around the prime minister's positions. The League, with Borghi, reiterated its cautious position on military spending.
