Third term, Lega amendment rejected in Senate

The amendment on the third term for governors, presented by the League in the Senate to the bill on adjusting the number of regional councilors and assessors under consideration by the Senate Constitutional Affairs Committee, was rejected.
The government had deferred to the opinion of the Commission. In the end, as far as we know, there were 15 votes against, 5 in favour (three from the League in addition to those from Autonomia and IV ) and two abstentions, the president Alberto Balboni and Domenico Matera , both from Fdi.
