Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition: The Limited Edition Headset Designed for Xbox Fans

Microsoft and Meta are introducing an exclusive bundle for the Quest 3S headset, available today in limited quantities for $399.99. The Game Pass Ultimate bundle includes an Xbox Wireless Controller and custom accessories
Microsoft and Meta have announced the launch of the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition, a limited-edition version of the mixed reality headset designed specifically for Xbox enthusiasts. The device is available starting today, priced at $399.99, only in the US and UK. Units are limited and will not be restocked once sold out. The Xbox Edition package comes with an exclusive Xbox-inspired livery, featuring a Carbon Black body with Velocity Green details. In addition to the 128GB headset, the bundle includes: a color-matched Touch Plus Controller, a limited-edition Xbox Wireless Controller, pre-paired, an Elite Strap for added comfort, three months of Meta Horizon and three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
The included wireless controller matches the headset’s color scheme, with a black chassis and green accents on the buttons and analog sticks. It’s Bluetooth compatible with the Quest 3S, as are other Xbox controllers, including the Elite series and Adaptive model. Through the Xbox app on the headset, users can directly access the Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) library, which includes hundreds of games included in the Game Pass Ultimate catalog. Top titles that are already compatible include South of Midnight, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, and Avowed.
Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can also stream games they’ve purchased individually, as long as they’re cloud-compatible. The system supports cross-play and cross-progression, allowing you to start a game on your headset and continue it on your console or PC without losing your saves or achievements. With the launch of the Xbox Edition, Meta and Microsoft are further expanding the possibilities offered by cloud gaming. The Xbox ecosystem is becoming increasingly flexible, embracing consoles, PCs, TVs, mobile devices and now virtual reality. The strategy aims to make Xbox games accessible on an ever-increasing number of platforms, while maintaining a consistent user experience.
