Diablo IV, Jusant, and The King of Fighters XV lead the monthly selection for Essential subscribers as the service's 15th anniversary summer celebrations begin

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the new monthly selection of games for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers, available from July 1 to August 4, 2025. Dominating the scene this month is Diablo IV, the latest chapter in the action RPG by Blizzard, available on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The game promises a dark and immersive experience, with a campaign that can be tackled alone or with friends, and a large End Game populated by imposing bosses, dungeons to explore, advanced customization and cross-play support.

Alongside Diablo IV, Jusant, a contemplative climbing adventure, debuts for PS5. The title offers a silent, vertical journey through a mysterious tower, where exploration and physical resource management merge for a thoughtful, atmospheric gameplay experience. Rounding out the offering is The King of Fighters XV, available for both PS5 and PS4, which revisits the classic three-versus-three team-based combat system and introduces 39 characters, new mechanics, and rollback netcode for a smoother online experience. A bonus skin for Leona, inspired by her 1996 incarnation, is also included.

In parallel, Sony is officially launching a series of special activities to celebrate the 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus. Among these, the free trials reserved for Premium subscribers stand out: WWE 2K25 is now available in trial version, while from June 30 it will be possible to test Monster Hunter Wilds, one of the most anticipated titles in the action RPG panorama. During the weekend of June 27 to 29, the PlayStation Store will host an exclusive promotion with discounts dedicated to subscribers on games such as Sniper Elite: Resistance, Sid Meier's Civilization VII and Star Wars Outlaws. All subscribers can also redeem a free pack dedicated to VALORANT, containing cosmetic items and virtual currency. The PlayStation Plus Anniversary Cup tournaments will also kick off on Saturday 28, with prizes up for grabs that include in-game currency, exclusive avatars and credits for films on Sony Pictures Core.

Finally, from now until August 12, Premium subscribers will be able to take advantage of a 15% discount on over 2,000 movie titles through the Sony Pictures Core service. The weekend of June 28 and 29 will also see the temporary opening of online multiplayer to all PlayStation users, even without a subscription.
