Acf has been admitted to the next Women's Serie B Championship

Arezzo, June 25, 2025 – ACF Arezzo confirms its participation in the Women's Serie B Championship for the 2025/26 season. The club has promptly complied with every phase required by the FIGC, from administrative documentation to financial guarantees, up to technical and organizational aspects. CO.VI.SO.F has thus approved the documents filed in recent weeks for admission to the next cadet championship.
Starting this season, the Women's Serie B Championship will have a new look. The participating teams will be reduced from 16 to 14, following a federal reform that, in the last sports year, provided for three promotions to Serie A, expanding the top division from 10 to 12 teams.
The Serie B formula remains unchanged: a single round that includes a total of 26 games between home and away legs. This season, in addition to ACF Arezzo, the following will take part in the competition: Bologna, Brescia, Cesena, Como (which purchased the sports title from Chievo Verona), Freedom, Hellas Verona, Lumezzane, Res Roma, Sampdoria (relegated from Serie A), San Marino Academy, Spezia, Trastevere and Venezia (these last three, promoted from Serie C).
The kick-off is scheduled for Sunday 7 September 2025. The championship will then conclude on Sunday 17 May 2026 at the end of a journey that will see only one team promoted to Serie A and two relegations to Serie C. A structure that makes the championship even more selective and competitive.
ACF Arezzo is thus preparing to take part in the fourth consecutive Serie B championship under the Anselmi presidency, a milestone that testifies to the solidity of the sports project carried forward by the amaranto club. Already a point of reference in the city, Arezzo confirms its commitment to promoting sports in the area, with the aim of consolidating itself among the great realities of women's soccer.
